Busy Weekend-Holiday Time - Tucson Family Photographer

Time goes by so quickly around the holidays! I am gearing up for a busy weekend full of pictures and parties! My sister is graduating next weekend from college- BS in Mathematics! So next weekend will be a little crazy too. I think that will be the theme for the holidays this year, CRAZY! Craziness aside, this time of year is so much fun. The kiddos are enjoying the treats and special gatherings! I love the feeling of Christmas! On a side note- I asked her to read a Christmas book and she picked a vampire book...and no, they are not real glasses. Studious though!

My girl turns 7!

We celebrated my daughter's (G) 7th birthday yesterday, and that means LOTS of treats and a special dinner out. Usually we don't always go out-due to a little 3 and a half year old brother, and a budget but we decided to give it a go. Dinner was pretty uneventful(NOT relaxing)and G had a birthday song a birthday treat from the restaurant. We came home and did our own cake with candles-a HUGE cake, G style! After all her motto should be "Go big or go home!".......Thanks my girl!

Paint is fun!

This paint is GREAT!!! It is super washable, so I never have to worry about the kids getting it on themselves or anything else. But they never do that right? Of course not, only a little bit........

A little time on the trampoline with the hose and you couldn't even tell they were COVERED before!

So the last pics look a little out of focus-BUT -I didn't resize them for posting. Oops. Lesson learned, they are beautiful if you click on them and go full size. I am always trying to be a better photographer. I am learning and always looking to improve. It is hard to put yourself out there when you are open for criticism. I am a fairly private person, even shy at times. I guess I would say reserved. So putting my art on display for all to see is a new experience for me. I was inspired by other photographer blogs, as well as other moms who are allowing everyone to see that they love being a mom. It comes with so many challenges and joys. Happy September! Welcome to my blog. While my website is under construction, I will be posting to my blog. If you are interested in having pictures taken please email me or call...520.270.7314. If I don't answer it's because I am picking up, dropping off, fixing, making, wiping, helping, or ...wait what was I doing? Actually, I am not forgetful, or disorganized. I like to call it prioritized. I LOVE taking pictures, and  I also just started including myself in my pictures....I decided to start using the timer on my fantastic new camera to include myself in pictures with my kids.
